Anda Seat Novis Ultra Gaming Chair (Grey Fabric, XL)

What is the maximum weight capacity and height recommendation for this chair?

The chair supports up to 120kg (265lbs) and is designed for users up to 210cm (6'11") tall. The XL size provides extra room and support for larger users, with the steel frame construction ensuring stability at maximum capacity. The seat dimensions of 68cm width and 39cm depth offer comfortable space for extended sitting.

How much can the backrest recline and does it lock in position?

The backrest adjusts from 90° (upright) to 155° (nearly flat) with smooth adjustment controls. The chair locks securely at any angle within this range, allowing you to find your perfect position for gaming, working, or relaxing. Additionally, there's a 15° rocking motion feature that can be engaged for gentle movement during breaks.

Are the armrests adjustable and what type of adjustment do they offer?

The chair features 1D armrests that adjust vertically (up and down) to match your desk height and personal preference. This ensures proper arm support whether you're typing, gaming, or using a mouse. The armrests are sturdy and maintain their position once adjusted, providing consistent support throughout your session.

What makes the foam different from standard office chairs?

This chair uses high-density, cold-cure foam which is superior to standard foam in several ways. Cold-cure foam maintains its shape and supportive properties over time, won't compress or develop permanent indentations and provides better contouring to your body. This means consistent comfort and support even after years of use, unlike cheaper chairs where the foam breaks down quickly.

Is assembly required and how difficult is it to put together?

Yes, assembly is required but customers report it's straightforward with clear instructions included. Most users complete assembly within 30-45 minutes using the provided tools. The main components are the seat, backrest, armrests, base and wheels. All hardware is included and the parts are well-labelled to make the process as simple as possible.

Will the wheels work on both carpet and hard floors without damage?

The 60mm silent wheels are specifically designed for all surface types. They roll smoothly on carpet without getting stuck in fibres and won't scratch or damage hardwood, laminate, or tile floors. The wheels are also engineered for quiet operation, so you can move around without creating noise that might disturb others nearby.

Can the headrest and lumbar support pillows be removed completely?

Yes, both the headrest and lumbar support pillows are completely removable if you prefer to use the chair without them. They attach securely when in use but can be easily taken off for cleaning or if you prefer the chair's profile without them. This flexibility allows you to customise the chair's support level to your personal preferences.

How does this chair compare to other gaming chairs in terms of professional appearance?

Unlike many gaming chairs with bright colours and racing-style designs, this chair features a sleek grey linen fabric that looks professional enough for office environments. The clean design aesthetic means it works well in both gaming setups and professional workspaces. Many customers specifically choose this model because it doesn't look out of place in video calls or office settings.
